Classic Nostalgia is a two-day motorsport festival featuring competition for pre-1980s cars, demonstrations, parades, displays, live music, entertainment and food. Classic Nostalgia is the flagship event at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb and is now one of the main events on the west of England's social calendar.

The theme for this years Classic Nostalgia will be F1 Through the Ages.

The main attraction at this years show will be an F1 paddock filled with both modern day and classic Formula one cars. The F1 paddock will be open to all spectators and not only will be putting on an incredible F1 car demo run up the hill for you all to enjoy but the cars will be competing as well! - bring your ear plugs!

All tickets bought in advance will be posted out at least 10 days before the event.



Following on from the first day of competition, we will be holding a social evening on Saturday night from 7pm. It will be held in the marquee in the courtyard, where you will be treated to welcome drinks, a delicious array of hot food, sharing company with all of the special guests and F1 drivers taking part in the event and there will a fantastic live band that will go on into the evening. Just a short stumble back to the campsite for those who are staying overnight!

Buzzin Hornets

The Buzzin Hornets are a Hot Rockin, Texicana style Blues Band with a wide range of covers and also some original songs.
With a heavy emphasis on 'having a good time' with a fast paced show. The band has around 150 years combined worth of gigs behind them!! In 2017, they played 2 shows at the British Grand Prix for the Force India F1 team, in front of thousands of fans!
​The whole Buzzin Hornets idea was born at the F1 motorsport tracks of the world back in the day.

Bluebird Belles

Dubbed 'the best thing since The Andrews Sisters', The Bluebird Belles are a professional 1940s & Vintage vocal harmony trio from the West Midlands. Inspired by The Andrews Sisters and specialising in retro sounds from the 1920s right up to the present day, you will see them singing in the Courtyard and around the venue.


Vintage Jazz Revival

Vintage Jazz Revival comprises 6 widely experienced musicians from Ludlow. Many of the tunes they play will be instantly recognisable to people of all ages and their line up includes a Trumpet, Soprano Saxophone, Trombone, Banjo, Tuba and Drums. Look out for them over the weekend!


John Aubrey

John Aubrey is a multi-talented entertainer from Kidderminster. His skills include close up magic, juggling, stilt walking and fire breathing. He will be entertaining people all over the venue during the weekend.

Dave Jones, Magician - both days & Saturday Evening

Dave Jones is a locally based entertainer who is a Gold Star Member of the Inner Magic Circle, Magical Advisor for "Dynamo - Magician Impossible" and "Ben Earl - Trick Artist" TV series and a fantastic  close up and comedy magician. Dave will be wowing people with his magic between 12pm and 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday and at the Evening Event on Saturday.


Poor Boys Band - Sunday Only

The Poor Boys of Worcester are six boys from the magnificent Severn. They are fun... they make a noise and expect dancing. They cover civil war Americana, White Stripes & lots in between. They feature five ukes, banjolele, double bass and harmonicas but they ain't your normal uke band & have the only hammer & chisel in the WMF. With songs about trains, cheatin', romance, marriage, murder (and death by natural causes), jail and middle distance running... a good time is guaranteed for all.


The Sptifires - Saturday Evening Only

A timeless slice of vintage cool. The Spitfires take their cues from some of the best artists of the 50’s and 60’s, they serve up a mix of covers of Rock & Roll, Blues, Jazz, Soul, Rockabilly and timeless Pop. The Spitfires will be entertaining the guests at the Saturday Evening Event with their fantastic range of iconic songs.


A truly unique way to entertain clients, reward staff or simply enjoy a touch of luxury whilst watching the fastest hill climb cars at the oldest venue. You’ll enjoy unrestricted access to the entire site and will have exclusive access to the VIP marquee positioned at Bottom Ess. Offering a prime viewing position of the Hill Climb course.

It includes the following per day:

This year for the first time we will be opening up the camping field to spectators as well as competitors on Friday and Saturday nights.

  • Tickets are £10 per tent, caravan or motorhome

  • Toilets and a shower block are provided in the campsite

  • No electric hook up available but you can use generators from 7am until 10pm

  • A tap for fresh water a short walk from the campsite field

  • Pitches will be allocated in a first come first served basis

  • Barbecues are allowed as long as hot surfaces do not come in contact with the grass

  • Please take all of your rubbish with you when you leave

  • All loud music must be switched off by 11pm

  • Competitors are allowed access from 9am Friday, spectators from 6pm

  • Saturday only campers can arrive from 8am

The camping field is located across the road from the bottom entrance to the paddock. Even if you park on the far side of the field your walk will be under 10 minutes to the heart of the venue. Please be mindful that competitors will be camping too and they will appreciate a good nights sleep so please keep noise to a minimum.

The campsite will be split so those wanting a quiet night are closest to the venue. If you plan on having a raucous evening, please park in the far end of the field where music and noise is allowed until 11pm. Please keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.


  • The cost of a Trade Stand at Classic Nostalgia is £150.00 for two days inclusive of vat.

  • 3x3m tent with back and sides included plus signage - supply your logo and we will include a sign on the front of your tent

  • Includes two admission tickets. Further tickets can be purchased at advanced ticket prices.

  • Trade stands are situated on the hill.

  • No electricity or water is supplied.

  • Allocation of pitches will be done on a random basis. If you have a specific location please contact the office.

  • Traders must provide, electrical safety certificates and Public Liability Insurance.

  • Payment is required in advance via online booking. Refunds will only occur if the event is cancelled.

  • Setting up can be done on the Friday before a meeting. Please report to the office on arrival for your location.
