HRCR OPEN DAY
The Club attended this event to draw attention to the MAC Classic 2018 and it was a great success with all our entry forms being taken away. Great enthusiasm for the event, particularly the run up the Hill itself. Our team consisted of Finton Murphy, Colin Moore, John Spencer and Andrew Davis with John Dyas helping out too. An early start for setting up with Finton arriving at Gaydon before 7 am! We rewarded ourselves with a Gaydon breakfast. The visitors to our stand include

PRESIDENT’S DINNER
Stanbrook Abbey hosted the Midland Automobile Club’s Annual President’s Dinner and Prize Winners Awards Reception for the second time on Saturday 6th January, with the reception moving to the beautiful Callow Great Hall (the old chapel for the nuns). Lighting was supplied by Nicky Mansfield and her family’s LSE lighting company and created a stunning atmosphere in every room. NEW YEAR’S DAY WALK
The New Year was welcomed in at Shelsley Walsh with the annual New Year’s Day Walk and brunch. This event started as a group of members and friends gathering together to bring in the New Year at the hill approximately 10 years ago and has grown year on year as word spreads. This year over 200 people visited us on New Year’s Day in an array of cars. The restaurant was busy serving ‘Shelsley Breakfasts’ and many MAC members gathered together to catch up.
