Speed into Spring on May 5th 6th Kicks Off 2018 Season at Shelsley Walsh
The 2018 season will start at Shelsley Walsh over May 5th and 6th with the Midland Hill Climb Championship drawing some fast cars, new faces and never been seen before cars to the 113 year old hill. The single seater entry is nearly brim full as people test out their modifications from the winter months to see if they can advance, improve and lower their personal best times, while the production based cars will also be seeing if they can knock on the door of some quick times

New Holland set tractor record at Shelsley Walsh
New Holland hired Shelsley Walsh to launch their new DSG gearbox tractor to all their distributors from around the UK and Ireland. On Monday 23rd April with a time of 98.70 seconds Liam Hayde set the record on his final run having previously failed to set a sub 100 seconds time. Sunshine at the Working Party!
It was a great turn out for the working party on April 21st with over 30 people turning up to help. We were very lucky with the weather with some beautiful sunny spells to start the morning which helped put everyone in good spirits. Many headed up the hill armed with a paintbrush and paint to help get Shelsley ready for the new season. Thankfully the sun stayed shining for a well deserved lunch break in the courtyard. Sunrise Sprint Championship 7/8th April Rounds 1 & 2
MAC’s new format championship kicked off at a rainy Anglesey on Saturday 7th April on the National circuit configuration and ably run by the Longton & District Car Club. 13 of the 33 registered championship competitors entered this double weekend with Philip Stader in his very pretty Alfa Romeo finishing the first day jointly leading with Dean Cubitt in his rapid MX5. Track & test Day | Curborough (Figure-of-8) – Saturday 19th May
MAC has decided to put on an open Track & Test Day at Curborough on Saturday 19th May utilising the popular Figure-of-8 course and it is open to anybody with a regular driving licence. No specialist clothing will be required although arms and legs must be covered and you will need to wear a crash helmet (which can be hired/borrowed from MAC on the day). May Breakfast Club - cancelled
Due to the exceptional weather conditions, the next Breakfast Club has been cancelled as this date has now been reallocated to the postponed Bromyard Speed Festival on Tour. This means that the next Breakfast Club at Shelsley Walsh will be on Sunday 8th July.

The Bromyard Speed Festival on Tour has moved to 13th May
The organisers have had to postpone the event which was due to take place on 8th April and it will now take place on Sunday 13th May at Shelsley Walsh. Operations Manager Robin Webb said “It was impossible with all the rain that we have had and the car park being too muddy to walk on let alone drive. The organisers have made the right decision and we look forward to a dryer Festival in May”

New Partnership with Octane Magazine
Shelsley Walsh Speed Hill Climb have partnered with Octane Magazine for the 2018 season as the Worcestershire motor sport venue goes into its record breaking 113th year.
