NEW YEAR’S DAY WALK

The New Year was welcomed in at Shelsley Walsh with the annual New Year’s Day Walk and brunch.

This event started as a group of members and friends gathering together to bring in the New Year at the hill approximately 10 years ago and has grown year on year as word spreads. This year over 200 people visited us on New Year’s Day in an array of cars.

The restaurant was busy serving ‘Shelsley Breakfasts’ and many MAC members gathered together to catch up.

The weather wasn’t the best with heavy rain early on, but it brightened up around 10am and stayed dry for the rest of the morning. The rain didn’t stop people turning up in their pride and joys though with everything from modern super cars to vintage cars turning up.

It was a very enjoyable morning and a great way to start the New Year – a brisk walk up the hill is just the thing to cure a poorly head from new year celebrations!
