Rockingham Sprint

Day two of the Eastern Weekend took place on the Sunday after Saturday’s Blyton and was a first for MAC. And what a day it was, enjoyed by absolutely everybody with competitors raving about the track configuration. In fact MAC now has the honour of being the last club to organise a sprint on the Rockingham National circuit as the whole venue is closing down as a motorsport destination at the end of the year. All competitors enjoyed an extra run and we still finished before 4pm.

Invited championships were the Healey contingent and it was also a round of the British Sprint Championship who produced the BTD with Colin Calder in his Gould GR55.
