BBC Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge visiting Shelsley
8 Nov 2018
The BBC’s One Show Rickshaw Challenge is to visit Shelsley Walsh on 14th November as a team of six young people, all of whom have been supported by BBC Children in Need funded projects, ride the McLaren designed and constructed rickshaw across the UK.
The One Show’s Matt Baker will pedal alongside them in the rickshaw as it visits Shelsley on the morning of Wednesday 14th November after an overnight stop in Malvern. They aim to be at the hill just after 10am and everyone is welcome to come and support the team as they attack Shelsley so please come along to the World’s oldest motor sport venue for this great cause.
Team Rickshaw is taking on the journey for now the eighth year in a bid to raise money for BBC Children in Need and help make a difference to young lives. Over the next week The One Show on the BBC will feature special surprises for the young riders, and a chance to hear directly from them about the experiences that have led them to taking on the Rickshaw Challenge.
The challenge will end on 16 November during BBC Children in Need’s Appeal show, with viewers able to tune in to the show every day from 8th November to follow the team’s journey across the UK.
