Bike Bonanza

Shelsley Walsh will be welcoming the bike fraternity to its world famous Hill Climb for the first dedicated competitive motorcycle event on the hill in 118 years, culminating with a Run Off of the fastest ten climbs of the day.

The National Hillclimb Association will be showcasing their four key championships:  Open Class Championship This is the main overall Championship so everyone is part of this. Previously, the fast guys have been known to beat world class bike racing names.  Classic Class Championship The Classic Championship is for those classic machines with that evocative sound and beautiful looks. Post war to the 70's are pure nostalgia, but not slow either.    Forgotten Era Class Championship This championship is designed for motorcycles of all types from the period 1970 to 1989. These bikes fall between two eras; neither old enough to be a classic nor young enough to be fully competitive. The "Forgotten Era" Championship aims to give these bikes and their riders a chance to compete with broadly similar machinery.  Road Legal Class Championship This Championship is designed to give the road bikes a chance. It’s a hotly contested class for road going machines, giving both beginners and experienced riders a chance to compete on equal grounds.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION

• Gate Price: £20

• Advanced Ticket: £18

• Weekend Advanced Ticket: £30 (inc The Vintage Meeting the next Day)

• Children under 16 Free (no ticket required and to be accompanied by a full paying adult) 

• Spectator Camping: £10 per person  night (Fri and/or Sat nights)

• Bar and Restaurant open on the Saturday night  with music

• No Dogs Allowed

Start 9am and finish about 5.30pm

Your admission ticket includes access to the paddock, hill, courtyard and spectator enclosures.

What am I not allowed to bring in to the event?

No weapons, knives, drugs, fireworks or flares are allowed. No dogs, other than assistance dogs are permitted.

What happens in bad weather?

In great British fashion we carry on regardless if it rains.

What’s your refund policy?

Unfortunately, once your ticket is booked, we can’t offer refunds unless the organisers have to cancel, however we have no problem with you giving it or selling it to someone else (face value only please, let’s be nice!).
