AN ACTION PACKED WEEKEND...
The hugely popular Midland Hill Climb Championship arrives at Shelsley Walsh this May Bank Holiday (3rd & 4th May) for what promises to be an action packed ‘Speed into Spring’ weekend set in the hills of the picturesque Teme Valley in Worcestershire.

OVER 150 ENTRIES
London driver Richard Snow, in a new Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, is already setting the pace and is current leader with two class wins and two new class records at the first two meetings of the year at Loton Park and Prescott, … could he possibly make it a fantastic ‘hat trick’ on Sunday!
The Midland Championship attracts nearly 150 entries and is a closely fought class-based competition for cars ranging from classics, through sports and saloon cars to the very latest technology single seater racing cars, so a wide variety of machines for spectators to see and hear racing up the Historic hill.

DRIVERS OF ALL AGES
Drivers to look out for include Jonathen Varley of Telford in a GWR Predator racing car who retained the Midland title last year and has already made a good start this season, together with young drivers Tom Weaver and Alex Coles who regularly mix things in up in their motorcycle-powered lightweight Empire and Force racing cars against the far higher capacity and powerful unlimited class cars.

SPORTS CARS & SINGLE SEATERS
Always a popular attraction is a beautiful array of 30 sports and racing cars, many lovingly restored and dating back over the years, entered into the Paul Matty Sports Cars Lotus Championship, which is run on a bespoke handicap system to ensure close competition for all cars in both classes competing on Saturday.
Guest classes entered over the weekend include drivers in the BARC championship, the Fairfield Motor Company Welsh Sprint & Hill Climb Championship on both days and also competitors in the Midland Speed Championship, which travels to sprint and hill climb venues across the country.

THE GATES OPEN AT 8.00AM
The paddock is completely open to spectators and drivers are only too happy to chat about their cars, creating a very special atmosphere at the historic venue’ The Courtyard with its bar and restaurant will provide a relaxing environment for those wishing to fortify themselves before or after a climb up the hill and entry for accompanied children aged under 16 is free.
Both the Pit Stop outlet in the paddock and Bottom Ess Bites will be serving breakfasts, pasties, sausage rolls with loaded burgers and Macaroni
Gates open at 8am with first car up at 9am.
